In 2022, during a soya beans project in Lufwanyama, it was observed that sustainable natural resource management remained a major challenge. Many farmers relied on charcoal production between crop seasons as a primary source of income, highlighting the need for alternative livelihoods and improved environmental practices.
Today, Chalo Chesu supports clients with a wide range of environmental services, including impact assessments, environmental compliance, project briefs, soil and water testing, and sustainable land-use advisory. Our goal is to help organisations meet regulatory requirements, protect natural resources, and promote responsible project development.
